WHEN TO TRAVEL?

The best season to experience Levi is from November to April. During this period there is enough snow and ice for all these amazing winter activities and it is also a good time for witnessing the enchanting northern lights.

In the second half of December, Levi transforms into crisp and magical winter wonderland during the polar night. By March, the days grow longer and sunnier, providing a different charm to the landscape. Each month holds its own unique magic!

A convenient destination

Once you've visited Levi, you always want to go back. Fortunately, traveling to Levi is extremely convenient and easy. The quickest way is to hop on a plane from Tallinn and land at Kittilä airport after just a few hours. If you prefer, you can rent a car or arrange for a taxi from the airport for the weekend.

However, if you enjoy having everything you need in your car, take a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. Choose between driving for about twelve hours or putting your car on the train, sleeping in a compartment, and having just an hour's drive left in the morning.
